Rotary Community Corp  "People Against Litter" Project
 
The Rotary Club of Port St Lucie is proud to sponsor a Rotary Community Corp comprised of community volunteers whose focus is to Keep Port St Lucie Beautiful and free from litter. A Rotary Community Corp (RCC) is a group of non-Rotarians who share our commitment for service with a specialized focus. RCC members plan and execute projects in the their communities and support local Rotary Club projects. There are more than 7,500 corps in over 80 countries.
 
Students Serious About Litter
 
The RCC People Serious About Litter offers a program for students of Treasure Coast High School. Participants can earn community service hours by picking up litter in or near the neighborhood in which they live. Participants receive a litter grabber, bright safety vest, bag holder and safety instruction. Enrollment is open to students in grades 9 -12.
